June 10th of year 0: Toshinori Yagi is born
Year 5: Iwao Oguro (Knuckleduster) is born
August 8th of year 10: Enji Todoroki is born
April 4th of year 20: Naomasa Tsukauchi is born
Age 23 in first half of year 24: All Might makes hero debut in Japan
March of year 24: Iwao Oguro graduates high school
March 1st of year 30: Rumi Usagiyama (Mirko) is born
February 22nd of year 32: Koichi Haimawari is born
March 3rd of year 32: Makoto Tsukauchi is born
March of year 36: Makoto has Quirk test and Naomasa is in 9th grade
May 28th of year 36: Kazuho Haneyama (Pop Step) is born
July 15th of year 40: Izuku Midoriya is born
Summer of year 41: Tenko kills family and is taken in by All For One
Summer of year 41: Shirakumo dies [correction: this should be September]
Between years 41-42: Captain Celebrity makes hero debut
Year 45: Sir Nighteye becomes All Might’s sidekick
Between February and March of year 47: Koichi saves Kazuho
Summer of year 47: Raid on the fight club occurs and Mirko is in grade 12
Year 49: Pop Step debuts
April of year 50: Makoto starts university
Year 50: All Might defeats All For One
Year 51: Vigilantes plot begins. Koichi starts university in April, instant villains, bee villain, and first Marufest in Spring. Summer is timeskipped. Fall starts monthy Marufest, the crab route bust, and Number 6 introduced. Capain Celebrity fights the bomber villain at Christmas
Year 52: Eraser Head, Fat Gum, and Kaniko work their investigation of Onomura Pharm in the Winter. The sky egg is attacked in March.
Captain Celebrity and Makoto leave for NYC, Midnight starts teaching at U.A. And Eraser Head leaves town in the Spring. Present Mic starts teaching at U.A. in the fall.
Aizawa starts teaching at U.A. In the Spring of year 53.
In Summer of year 54, Nomura kidnaps Pop and the Hospital stakeout occurs.

When Bakugo first calls people “extras” it reads like a simple fourth wall break since the middle school classmates really are background characters. And now I’m questioning whether he ever really uses it in a way that’s detached from the fourth wall as a general way to put people down.

I wouldn’t call The Apartment (1960) a Christmas movie, but the holiday backdrop across the whole thing makes Christmas a nice season to watch it.

Before Midoriya’s impulsive action to save Bakugo impresses All Might, he had to make a different impulsive action that wasn’t received so well. In life, bending or breaking the rules seems to be the way to make real progress sometimes and the initial reaction probably won’t be pleasant.

(Not like the last third or so of MHA doesn't have its problems, but they aren't any worse than what's normally the case for a Shonen Jump finale, and it still has some flashes of brilliance)

Got my gallbladder out this morning, but got up early enough to see the New MHA episode for a boost of courage. Recovery seems to be going well.
