I’ve been struggling to get back into art for over 15 years. Some years there was nothing.
The last 10 years, I have created 20 some odd drawings. The last 5? Four.
I didn’t complete anything this year.
Yet, I keep going… Hoping I’m not yet broken.
Despite the odds, I reach for the light.

Sometimes my nephew, niece & I have art sessions. Our muse this last one was Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls.
My nephew drew Bill with a Gaster Blaster, ready to torment us pitiful mortals. Then my niece depicted the demon dorito w/ that 'ol razzmatazz ~ *wiggles eyebrows*

I’ve been considering what path to take towards becoming more present.
Art has been hard to flow back into for many years now. What I think happened was that I put too much pressure on myself to be “good” at art & along the way, stopped enjoying the process. So it became harder to perform.
