Current commission prices! Aiming to do some marker ones mainly for TFN minicon, but there are also cheaper digital commissions in general.

If you want to support @hamishsteele.bsky.social as he and his show are currently under fire by bad actors, I recommend picking up his latest book Go-Man. I haven't had a chance to read my copy yet but the cover alone shows it's going to be a charming adventure

The thing about AI is that it ultimately doesn't matter how realistic it gets, or looks, or sounds, or seems - those are all red herrings. The problem at its heart is that nothing it produces comes from a real person, and it therefore has no aesthetic value. That's it. No more needs to be said.

I feel like I only post on here when I’m at a low ebb, so now that it’s over let me say: Phoenixfest was completely amazing and delightful and life-affirming and joyous. High ebb!

Gorgeous and lovely and brilliant and heartwarming day at Phoenixfest yesterday, and I hope it is not too off-message of me to say I am absolutely ready to climb inside a barrel and push myself gently into the lake. A nice, quiet barrel.

Tell you what, kids absolutely LOVE The Phoenix. We’re in Windermere for LICAF and the whole town is awash with families, kids festooned with Phoenix badges, clutching comics and books, excitedly ticking off the shop window art displays.

I didn't even have a chance to come and look at the rest of LICAF 😢

Does anyone have an idea as to why my pen pressure has just stopped working in Clip Studio? Surface tablet, Slim Pen 2. Was working yesterday just fine.

Star Trek: The Next Generation started 38 years ago today.

The future began again at this (Encounter at Far)point.
Newspaper advertisement for the U.S. premiere of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Specifically, this ad was for its broadcast on the New York station WPIX on the week of its debut. The headline, "TONIGHT, THE 24TH CENTURY BEGINS WITH A SPECTACULAR TWO-HOUR MOVIE," refers to the series' double-length pilot episode, "Encounter at Farpoint."

There's a lot of bad in the world right now. But @tealcartoons.bsky.social and I have a new kids' book coming out called DEAD ENDS that reminds us that failure isn't just inevitable but essential to success. There are a limited number of SIGNED copies from @mysteriousbookshop.com - shorturl.at/1A9CS
A photo of the cover of DEAD ENDS featuring a cartoon of a doctor zapping a patient in a coffin back to life. There are signed book plates and medical oddities all around the book.

Thankyou to the two lovely ladies who saw me do a full Old Woman tumble onto the pavement and came over to help me. I'm bruised but my heart is happy.

In case it needs restating, autism isn't caused by Tylenol, or vaccines, or woke parents or whatever. It's not a disease, and it doesn't need curing. Eugenicists and fascists love to think of ways to eradicate us because they are unwilling to understand us. But we will outlive them.
Edit of a meme which says I'M JOINING THE WAR ON AUTISM ON THE SIDE OF THE AUTISM and beside it is a picture of GO-MAN, a red, white and blue superhero character with a big scarf and mask.
