•Turn off all notifications except calls and texts.

•Raise your bike seat. It’s probably too low.

•Lower your arms when you run. Fists down by your hips.

•When you walk your dog, do solely that. Don’t be on your phone. Spend the time being with your dog and out in the world.

My experience was that Hollow Knight is very “spacey” (you just need to move to the right positions on screen) which makes everything feel frantic and chaotic, while Nine Sols is very “timey” (you just need to parry with the right rhythm) which makes everything feel controlled and precise

AN ESSAY ON ONTOLOGICAL
PRAGMATISM

It is bitterly cold outside. The kitchen is cold. I thank the kettle. I thank the toaster. I thank the skillet. I thank the cutting board. I thank the knife. I thank the butter. I thank the water. I thank the raspberry jam. I thank the tea towel. I thank the coffee grounds I put into the compost tin. I thank the orange. I thank the orange peel. I thank the old round table. I thank the plate, the cup. The fork, the spoon. The small bowl of milk. The kitchen windows have ice. I must get window curtains. If you lean over the sink and look out the window at the far end of the street you see a pink aura announcing the sun’s arrival. I pick the cat's bowl up to clean it. I reach the cat food down from the cupboard. I thank the cat food and the cat bowl. The floor is dirty. It needs washing. I thank the floor.

If only it had more than like 40 max players online :/ I miss it, and MBAACC doesn’t have automated ranked matchmaking. I’m searching for a fighting game and can’t find the right one

in this ep. one of us exclaims “81!” like it’s the most faint-in-church shocking thing ever and one of us explains why he got a tattoo of the phrase “lust demon santa” & how he hopes to use time travel to erase the tattoo and our convo about it. www.patreon.com/posts/inevit...

while this book's tone is quite frustrating and academic at times, I wish more people would read it

Relationship Anarchy
Juan-Carlos Pérez-Cortés

One very clear example of this issue is when the idea of avoiding labels in relationships is insisted upon and one of the people involved has a personal traumatic history of being denied value, a name, or the importance of a bond. If you have been denied recognition as a mechanism of power in the context of an abusive relationship, you will experience that desire not to name as a violent memory rather than a safeguard against repeating relationships of control and possessiveness. You will understand this as minimizing its significance rather than preventing the imposition of a predetermined format, identified by a label, in establishing how the bond will be set up and evolve.

We need to stop using a framework of 'ChatGPT killed someone', it feeds into the myth of the system's agency & OpenAI's framing. The right framework to use: OpenAI is continuing to perpetuate an indefinite industrial disaster. The oil pipe is not at fault when it breaks. The company that built it is
