I don't think I have an example but I'd add each label directly above or below the corresponding bar (horizontally oriented bars), that way you can use the whole width for the labels or even do multi-line labels if they're that long.

One of the most accessible way of taking a leadership role in the dataviz community is to become a board member of the Data Visualization Society. 📊

It's a lot of work, but thousands of people will know you and you'll shape the field.
