Working on invertebrate #paleoart at the moment, knowing I'm probably making mistakes despite best efforts, consulting primary literature etc. Inverts are much like fossil plants: there are few accessible resources on their appearance so we must wing it, or go down deep rabbit holes to restore them.

A lot of times when I feel unwell and want to stop doing the things I'm "supposed to do" I start doubting whether I really am unwell and need help or I'm partly convincing myself I'm unwell because I'm lazy or something. Does anyone else ever do this? If it's just a me thing then I'm probably not ok

Two Denversaurus meet at sunset. Referenced from a photo I took in Montana this summer.

Denversaurus belongs to the ankylosaurian family nodosauridae. Unlike ankylosauridae, nodosaurids lack a tail club and many have shoulder spikes.
