Jim Beam closing for 2026

“…exports have been curtailed…Canada has been boycotting American spirits since March in retaliation for President Trump’s ongoing trade war and U.S. whiskey sales to that country are down by more than 60% through October.”

So much winning…

Despite losing your seat in the last election, you're still able to reap the privileges of being a UCP member by being appointed to the BoG for University of Calgary with a huge salary. 💰

There was a federal private member’s bill (Bill C-306) in 2011 that would have required MPs who crossed the floor to vacate their seat and run in a by-election under their new party affiliation. The Conservatives who were in power then voted overwhelmingly against it. #cdnpoli

FINALLY!

Minister of Health, Adirana LaGrange, and our carefully placed UCP staff have finally ended a stupid bell ringing ceremony for children with cancer.

We can't have people, especially kids, having hope in Alberta.

Bailey's alternative.
Bailey's is owned by Diageo. This is the company that just shuttered the Ontario Crown Royal bottling plant in order to move production to the USA.
Corby is partly owned by Pernod Ricard, but this is made in Cowansville, Quebec by Ungava Spirits Co. (bought by Corby in 2016.)
