I wish I could pinpoint where we pivoted from being community-based to self-centrist. I do know it was apparent when I was a teenager in the 80s that there was a prevalence of "me first," and "I'm right." But IDK where it started

ICE is supposed to update the locator in 8 hours but they are not especially when private detention facilities are involved. ICE is also supposed to inform the embassy of the country of the detainee's birth but I don't know if that is happening either.
