The Portland frogs beating out Trump for next year’s Nobel peace price would be 👌🏼

I spent the afternoon sitting in the parking lot that is the 10 listening to the Ezra Klein/Ta-Nehisi Coates podcast and it’s pretty staggering: a literal hour of centrist White liberal not hearing what Black people have to say.

Since the Ezra & Ta-Nehisi discussion is still happening: the main point I think most are missing is that Klein is saying the role of the journalist-intellectual is to do strategic politics, whereas Coates says the role of the journalist-intellectual is to tell the truth

Showing up to work to avoid a shutdown is apparently a minimum threshold Republicans can’t be bothered to meet.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but you can now pick up a @mplsforthemany.com “Rank 3 for Change” lawn sign at @moonpalacebooks.bsky.social or Bench Pressed in S Mpls
Front yard with three lawn signs: Omar Fateh for Mayor, Jason Chavez for city council, and a “rank 3” sign for Omar Fateh, DeWayne Davis, & Jazz Hampton. A “Jacob Must Go” sign is visible in the background, inside the porch.

The bill declares that Kirk "engaged in respectful discourse," "always sought to elevate truth," "was a model for young Americans," "worked tirelessly to promote unity," "was a defender of life and liberty."

Caucacity is spending eight years calling the nation’s first Black president, 'Barack the magic Negro,' ‘boy,’ and ‘tar baby,’ his wife a 'gorilla in heels,' because you have free speech…

…but now wanting to fire everyone who calls a deceased racist a racist.

Whether it’s Fox News’s Brian Kilmeade advocating killing homeless people by “involuntary lethal injection” or MSNBC’s Matthew Dowd bringing up things that Charlie Kirk said, both networks have crossed the boundaries of decency.
