And a small but IMO important detail, when they arrested her she gave the street address for Gracie Mansion as her address, she didn't write "Gracie Mansion". I.e. she was specifically not pulling a "don't you know who I am" on the cops when they arrested her.

Punchbowl's Briana Reilly: House gaveled in and out of its pro forma just now w/o recognizing Rep Elfreth, who was seeking to UC a mil pay bill from Rep Sykes.

Elfreth told reporters after that House Dems stand “ready and willing to take” up standalone legislation to pay troops.

SB 79 was 8 years in the making, with earlier versions not passing in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Perseverance pays off.

MAJOR NEWS: @GavinNewsom signed SB 79, my bill allowing more housing near public transit — rail, subway, rapid bus.

It’s a huge step for housing in California. It’ll create more homes, strengthen our transit systems & reduce traffic & carbon emissions.

This guy's a real treat apparently. From one of the other negative reviews from the past week (seeing a mix of new reviews saying WTF at the changes, and people updating year-old positive reviews to negative ones).

Hopefully there's enough complaints to get the attention of the people above him.

"When members asked for more classes the new manager curtly replied "no". In fact, many members have witnessed this manager's abusive treatment of instructors and rude demeanor towards members who bring forth concerns or ask questions."

Based on the most recent Google Maps reviews of this location this manager just started at this location and immediately started ruining it. Apparently it started with fucking with the classes, which I don't use so wouldn't have known were getting ruined.

Definitely gonna need to try. It's New York Sports Club and nowadays they don't do single location memberships and only offer the membership that gets you into every location, so I expect the first response will be telling me I can still go to other Manhattan NYSCs if I'm not happy with this one.

Whelp this is great, just signed up for a new gym a block from my new apartment and now just a couple of months later they've "renovated" the gym including reducing the entire gym to a single squat rack. 10 months left on this contract too. 😵‍💫
