Trek fans never talk about the extremely short lived spinoff, Spock and Yoyo.
Leonard Nimoy in an episode of Spock and Yoyo Yoyo performs a romulan cock block on Spock’s jock

every single tech idea is like “soon our robots will be capable of playing catch with your kid, freeing you up to spend more time working on your employers’ spreadsheets”

In honour of my as yet unmade audio zine Regular Saturday Night Thing, tonight is a Thing triple feature!
First: The Thing From Another World! Then: The Thing (2011) followed by The Thing (1982) and if I feel like throwing it in, the episode of The X-Files where they basically retell the same story.

It’s also wrong in the sense that allies have shared bases all over the world. Depending on terrain and the strengths of different militaries it makes more sense and obviously there are benefits for forces that will work together to do shared exercises.

Angus: Who else are you going to give military bases to? When’s Vladimir Putin getting his rocket bases in the United States?

Looking forward to seeing this dude sue the Trump crime family into oblivion. What a bunch of pitiful venal morons

Lots of actors beyond a certain level also take producer or usually exec producer credit, which can give them a higher payout if the film does well. It’s not unusual.

My favorite part was when Tron said "It's Tronnin' time!" and Tronned all over everyone.

‘TRON: ARES’ has earned $14.3M in its opening day at the domestic box office.

For comparison, ‘MORBIUS’ opened to $17.3M.

That reminds me, speaking of mostly-convincing robots, how is the Trump LMD that came out of Walter Reed today while the original is retired to a black site? Functioning more or less properly?

Companion is pretty cool, it also feels like a remix of the underrated series Dollhouse.

Today, “President Putin” and his army murdered a 7-year-old boy in Zaporizhzhia, destroyed an agricultural facility in Kharkiv, created a blackout in Kyiv, and injured dozens of people.

But round and around and around we go.

Tonight’s horror movie is more like a good black mirror episode called Companion starring Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid. Righteous kill!

Watching a strangely compelling video from a hidden camera left in the woods by a guy who dumped fifty pounds of shelled peanuts in front of it. Seeing lots of blue jays, squirrels, crows, deer, raccoons, mice. Best documentary of the year so far, possibly the century

Loved it and can’t wait to see what’s next, cheers from Nova Scotia and the 🦞
