Just got an email from Adobe saying that they are discontinuing their application called Animate, formerly known as Flash, one of the many important early-web applications that they acquired. It was pretty good early on and became a security update nightmare, ultimately replaced by HTML5 and others.

I repaid the kindness of an old friend recently by cleaning and organizing their basement, and discovered an unused case (roughly 2000pg) of 11 by 17 paper that they didn’t want. Found some other cool old shit that they can display too. I’m a huge nerd for being happy about finding a cache of paper🤷♂️
