I'm eternally grateful to all that have supported my teaching credential journey. Unfortunately, because of complicated financial aid restrictions, I'm having a hard time paying off the rest of the summer course load costs. Any help, either by spreading the word or monetary, is greatly appreciated.

Had a moment of a bad brain anxiety come down, but my girlfriend was able to talk me through it and remind me who I am and how far I've come and that I have a grand support system.

Finding out I need to spend $953 on my car. What a way to start off a much needed break week.

Tell me something, Charlie Brown. You ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight? I always ask that of all my prey. I just... like the sound of it.

There was something almost cathartic about confronting the issues of this event, and the X-Line at large, with the gang.

Marvel's solicitations are such a bummer these days. Just a bunch of nostalgia wrapped nostalgia, including a bunch of books just throwing licensed toys against licensed toys.

Two weeks ago I had a full emotional breakdown. The stress of trying to shoulder work, the teaching program, & everything else just took me down.

Months ago I thought it would be a breeze to carry it all. It has not been.

I'm in a better space though because my support system is strong.

Make planes comfortable and not cost a damn arm & a leg and maybe I'll consider (I won't) dressing up.
Trump's Transportation Secretary on how to improve air travel:

"People dress up like they're going to bed when they fly... We want to push people as we come into a really busy travel season, help people out, be in a good mood, dress up"

Oh gosh, how sad, guess that anti-DEI stand is really "paying" off for them huh?

Giving your information to these two and using this to file your taxes is just asking for your taxes to be fucked up and end up owing a shitload of money when it invariably gets everything wrong.
TurboTax is about to be integrated into ChatGPT, where customers will be guided through tasks tied to their tax filings or financial profile by the AI chatbot.

TurboTax owner Intuit is also paying OpenAI more than $100 million a year to power AI agents.

Sounds pretty damn good to me.
AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.
Authors celebrate “historic” settlement coming soon in Anthropic class action
Advocates fear such settlements will “financially ruin” the AI industry.

Which will make it past development hell and actually return to the big screen first: Star Trek or Star Wars?

(As a fan of both...I'm fine with it being neither.)

Democrats just want to be Republicans so fucking badly.
Speaking at a Texas Tribune Festival on Friday, former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg criticized the Democratic Party for failing to reach everyday Americans, arguing that it “got sucked in” to a conversation about identity. #TribFest25
Pete Buttigieg critiques Democrats for focus on identity
The former U.S. transportation secretary said the Democratic Party should focus more on issues gripping the country, such as health care and housing affordability.
