ICYMI: The US is currently holding three times as many people in immigrant detention as were detained in the Nazi concentration camp system in spring 1939 — six years into the Third Reich, and just before the start of World War II.

I was at an Alpha ministry meeting last night and I brought up WAKE UP DEAD MAN as an example of how listening (esp Father Jud) is one of the most loving and caring things we can do for anyone.

Peaceful, prayerful protests are now cause for arrest. This is ACTUALLY religious persecution if you're someone on the right who likes to claim persecution for getting pushback on your ideas.
Real persecution means arrest and oppression of your religious practices by the ruling political empire.

Wrapped s1 of BOILING POINT and really liked it. So much happens in the final episode that I was a little shocked they left on a cliffhanger.
My first viewing of BOILING POINT did not disappoint; a tour de force if there ever was one - stunning performances, writing, directing. Will be checking out the show asap.

There are many reasons why the Psalms and Lamentations are my favorite books in the bible, top being that they represent so much of the human condition. They have informed my work significantly.

Vance and other chest-puffers clearly think that worshipping inside the walls of a church is the only acceptable place of worship. This, of course, signals their disinterest in what scripture says. So, not only are pastors/clergy peacefully protesting in Minnesota, they are praying AS THE CHURCH.
