3/3 Also, my dissertation now goes from "US influenced Nazi and others including Japan on eugenics" to "the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) influenced and was the basis for other countries, incl Germany & Japan."

2/3 find is that the U.S. public & drs etc overall didn't support euthanasia (some did and used it, incl lethal neglect) and used sterilization, institutionalization, immigration (1924) & marriage restrictions instead. Any sources abt this? Thanks! #AcademicSky #Skystorians #eugenics #MedSky

1/3 A "I swear I'm doing this for a class paper" post. No I don't condone this. My Bioethics class watched a video on U.S. eugenics, incl how it influenced Nazis. It explained that sterilizations peaked during the Depression b/c of the cost of caring for institutionalized ppl. Only info I can...
