Just 7 episodes in to cult classic Full House and she's only now dissecting his character

I think we’ve found the most British crime:

Four people have been arrested after custard and apple crumble were flung at a display case containing part of the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London.

#534 in things I'm not surprised but disappointed about

Reddit moderators report a tiring onslaught of continuous AI slop and ragebait, impacting on subreddit quality, culture, and moderator wellbeing

This is happening all over the web. Something's got to give.

AI Slop Is Ruining Reddit for Everyone
Reddit is considered one of the most human spaces left on the internet, but mods and users are overwhelmed with slop posts in the most popular subreddits.

Is anyone curating 2025 Wrapped examples from charities?

I've seen three good examples from Blood Cancer UK, Mind, and RNIB

X - more commonly known as Twitter - has been fined €120M by the EU for its deceptive verified checkmarks that anyone can pay for, as well as obscuring info on ads.

Musk's company has 60 days to inform them how deceptive checkmarks will change, or face further penalties.

Like a glutton for punishment, I'm back with more bemused reactions to classic 2004 Korean Drama 'Full House'

It's time for a hospital bed misunderstanding, right on time. Second FL = drama

Later, we zoom out and see ML in a tiny waistcoat, wide legged trousers... and it's grey pinstripe

Tonight the Cold Moon rises 🌕❄️

Known too as the Long Night Moon or the Moon Before Yule, it lifts into the deepening dark as we head toward the year’s longest nights.

It will be the last supermoon of 2025.

Excellent advice

'Why don't we just move platform now?' I was asked in an advice meeting recently

There's a temptation to move to greener pastures especially if your community UX is suffering.

Important to first get direction, a plan, and a basic operating framework so you don't take those problems with you too

Full House episode 5 starts with a bang, or maybe a kepow

Physical violence runs in the family as grandma wields a paper fan like a bayonet

Apparently this is all the FLs fault because she's an orphan (a common trope)

Meanwhile he's holding a book titled Cool and wearing a waistcoat

A relatable dilemma
I'm with Toad
Frog knocked at Toad’s door. “Toad, wake up,” he cried. “Come out and see how wonderful the winter is!”

“I will not,” said Toad. “I am in my warm bed.”

Full House episode 4 is the gift that keeps on giving

She's learning to cycle in the kind of heels that supermodels have struggled with

Second FL may be getting paid by the word, as she made the shortest house visit I've ever seen, and is still sporting episode 3's beach halter

Back with reactions to classic drama Full House episode #kdramas

4 minutes in, and we have 1 fake engagement, 1 disappearing handbag, 3 garment throwing characters and...

Wait. Does he have a semi naked poster of himself on his bedroom wall?

Narcissist and obsessed with hygiene...

Study shows that X posts, including misinformation shared by Musk, increased political polarisation (affective polarisation) and damaged US public discourse.

Electricians in. WiFi off, big light on, I'm perching at the living room table trying to finish a proposal and keep my sanity.

I've been offered a mince pie and I'm thinking of putting one in each ear. Effort seems very intense and involved, like the Obs/Gyn conversation in Resident Playbook

Honestly, it is possible to think 'I work hard to earn money; I deserve that money' and *also* 'it would be good if we created a more equal society: I'll help'. Exhausting to see everything presented as a fight to the death between those two ideas, seemingly forever.

I'm back for more Full House recaps #kdramas

The ML has the disgruntled energy of a speed awareness instructor who's lost his car keys

At first you don't realise the restaurant is playing Londonderry Air, due to the shaky camera work

He bought her a tropical kaftan. It's a bit Pretty Woman...

On my mission to complete classic older #kdramas so I started Full House last night.

What a bizarre premise. How young does the FL look in this drama? Why can't the ML find a shirt that buttons all the way up? Who leaves a shirt behind on a plane? How is she surviving with no budget?
