Manchester United. Motorcycles. Wood.
Italian leagues and loans w/options. Name a more iconic duo.
🚨 Roma are holding daily talks with Manchester United about Joshua Zirkzee.

United want either a permanent deal or a loan with an obligation to buy, while Roma are pushing for a loan with an option to buy that may only become mandatory under certain conditions.

This is not a winning project. This is a billionaire exemplifying the sunk cost fallacy.

I've got to say, I think the Dorgu signing is a *really* bad reflection of INEOS/Wilcox and our "new" scouting department.

He clearly can't handle the shirt, or the league, or something, and INEOS missed that. He's not good. He's not improved at all.

If this was data driven, our data SUCKS.
December 4, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Does it even matter who is to blame anymore? INEOS aren't going to do anything about it.

This can't be our level. Be it the players or the coach. This is just not good enough to do anything but sit midtable for a decade.

When I think about the recent transfer history of this club, two things stand out:

1) We've been criminal in how we've gone about the LB/LWB position.

2) We haven't signed a good central midfielder since Fred? Was Fred even a good signing? How have we gone this far with such poor midfield?

You see Ugarte sub on, and you just wait for the equalizer, y'know?

OK people, who are your ten players that need to move on? Because ten is a LOT.
That inevitably means casualties and Ugarte being allowed to move on, with reports the club have identified as many as ten other players who could follow him out the door. [@alex_crook] #MUFC

I think most fans can accept that, but when you can't muster even a draw against a 10 man Everton at home, you expose deeper problems than your talent depth.

This loss v. Everton is the worst of the Amorim era because there's simply no excuse for it.

"I know."

"What do we do?"

"Enjoy it."

Find it fascinating how Slot's second season meltdown mirrors ETH's second season meltdown. For both managers it went very badly very quickly.

The biggest question INEOS have to answer right now is why—on a Monday game after all your rivals lose, and after an international break against a team that we’ve absolutely owned for the past however many years—did our player show up and give that kind of performance?
November 25, 2025 at 1:31 PM
This quote right here is why he's not fit to be a top club manager. Leadership requires humility and arrogance in equal measure.

Amorim has anxiety and impulsiveness in equal measure. He's not constitutionally built for the job.
Ruben Amorim: I feel afraid of returning this feeling of last season. That is my biggest concern.

Manchester United are committing the biggest sin in sports: They're making them not worth your time anymore.

Loving and hating your team invokes passion. Manchester United are making it hard for me to want to commit time to them. They're becoming forgettable. That's crazy to think.
November 24, 2025 at 11:00 PM
The sad fact is the teams not worth your time right now.

That really feels like a catastrophic loss. It was a must win in the sense:"we have to be beating the Evertons of the world."

Sunderland result flattered. We're better than last year, but we're nowhere near good. Last 3 results show that.

This game result is, to me, down to lack of depth. Casemiro has 60 solid minutes in him. Ugarte doesn’t seem to have 30 in him.

I also don’t like starting Mazraoui when we could use him for defensive depth later.
November 8, 2025 at 2:32 PM
I haven’t actually checked but there seems to be a strong correlation. To us subbing off casemiro and losing control of the game.
November 8, 2025 at 2:21 PM
If that wasn’t a pen this is not a legit sport. I’m serious. If that’s not given as a pen you need to question the motivations of those involved. Absolutely corrupt.

Go back and watch Maguire's goal, and really marvel at how much he's perfected his knee slide. It's perfection.

I'm not going to say I expected us to win or anything, but I can't be the only one going into this game that thought things might be just aligned enough for us to pull it off. I think a lot of the pundits are downplaying just how bad Liverpool look.
