The Theory of Living Systems Symposium at @uni-freiburg.de's Institute of Physics highlighted cutting-edge research where #physics meets the #LifeSciences.
Co-organized by #CIBSS members, it gathered leading theoreticians to discuss physics-driven approaches to understanding living systems.

Congratulations 🎉 to our project A01 for their latest publication:

The team of our SFB 1381 PI Sonja Albers identified the archaellum machinery in several bacterial strains and solved the structure of the bacterial archaellum from Litorilinea aerophila using cryoEM.

Artificial intelligence holds great potential for research—but how can it be used most effectively?

To explore this question, our SFB organized a workshop lately, led by our PI Viviane Timmermann.

Participants left inspired and equipped with new strategies to integrate AI into their research!
