Bright Auroras over Stonehenge tonight.

Go out and look up tonight. Auroras are expected to be even more bright and vivid tonight.

Some info about these auroras: Red auroras occur about 125–250 miles high, green about 60–90 miles, and pink around 55–75 miles above Earth’s surface.

Attempting my first tunic. Had a lot of trouble warping the two dowels for the neck (three tries and it wasn’t level - when I tried to adjust lost all the warps and had to start over)!

One of our local breweries is co-owned by a bat researcher. One day she told me about the ongoing die-off of bats in North America and I’m convinced it is a top ten problem. I am glad to see solutions to some of the issues she highlighted and hope they are implemented www.cbc.ca/radio/whaton...

Three wall hangings I made recently. The mountain goats is very important to Salish weavers for its wool and protection, but is also considered ancestral to some nations.

The new one is going to Cheam, one was for a Squamish hunter, and the first is for Klahoose.

Made this golden beets last weekend recipe with the lemon vinaigrette dressing. Very nice (I substituted sunflower seeds for the pistachios and used mixed greens).
