The eye exam is the perfect game design. That big E is a great tutorial that teaches you the basic mechanic. But it doesn't baby you and quickly gets hard as they introduce the small and blurry enemies.

Recovery continues. Tubes and stitches came out yesterday, nose splints still on (so can't shower normally), pain is way down, but still getting winded after light activity. Really hoping I can work at about 50% capacity next week. We'll see.
