Black TV/movie writer, "too good" coordinator of scripts, and man about town from the comfort of my room. That’s all I really need and a bag of Blue Funk. Traders, artists, “No Posts Yet” and “Hello”s in the DMs = instant blocks. Lurkers block me. He/Him.

I remain a fan of lovers, not liars and cowards.
The answer is Married With Children, but I noticed that the name of one of these shows is also the name of an album by the alt-rock group The Dandy Warhols, and that makes sense.

Yes, I'm Black, you gotta relax.

Also, seeing old TV Guide pages is oddly comforting, much like old HBO Guide pages...

Thinking of certain chest-beating clips I’ve seen today
if you are following a big account and they spread doom.

they only care about their metrics.

stop letting people manipulate you.

Not to get too into awards analysis because the art itself will always matter independent of it, but the tragic overlooking of THE TESTAMENT OF ANN LEE & Seyfried for any Oscar noms will be remembered as one of those "wow, they really missed the boat on this one." 📽️

The Testament of Ann Lee is a beguiling and bold tragedy with a transcendent performance by Amanda Seyfried

Yes, it's super-early in the year, and I'm only halfway through the season, but Wonder Man has been a pleasant surprise. Just 30-ish minutes of solid, fun, engaging storytelling from episode to episode. It works even if you're "sick of all that comic book shit." Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is great in it.
