Okay, I've gotten a few text messages from some of my acquaintances, and I need to explain my few months of saying the things I do now. Apparently, they don't get it, and I will tell the world for them to see.

That's not irrational. This is their land. But this is an excellent point. But there are indigenous Americans who enjoy a closer proximity to whiteness and engage in anti-Blackness. Furthermore, this is even more complicated by the $5 certificates that Europeans purchased to be considered Native.

The other factor in denying whiteness is the level of Native American ancestry in the Hispanic community. Native Americans are the one group other than Black people to whom whiteness is off limits. It's wildly irrational but that's racism for ya.

21/21 Trump and his white supremacist puppeteers are likely going to fail this time because they did not give whiter-looking Latinos and Hispanics "whiteness" this time around. But when the next Trump comes around, they are going to realize their mistake and we need to be prepared.

20/? This is a very precarious time for Black people. We have no allies. We by nature of the dichotomy of what white and Black is will never be given "whiteness". But all of these other groups have a path to whiteness if they demonize us. Even now there is a path.

19/? The same can be said of whiter-looking Arabs and Muslims. After Latinos and Hispanics, they will be given whiteness too. Suddenly, they will remember that Arabs petitioned to be called white and won.

16/? But Latinos and Hispanics have way too much Black African blood in them to be given whiteness like "non-white" Europeans (that doesn't even sound right, but it's true). So they weren't given whiteness like even I thought they would be given it 10 or 20 years ago.

14/? In fact, to some extent, the Irish leveraged the demonization of not just Black people but also of Italians to become white. As a Black girl in a Catholic School, to me, they were both white, because they had a much closer proximity to whiteness than I did.

13/? In fact, looking back, much of the strife I would see in Catholic school between Irish Catholics and Italian Catholics at the heart of it all was about who had the most whiteness and when that whiteness was attained. The Irish became "white" before the Italians.

11/? But because many of these groups are white in their home countries, they thought they would be white here in the U.S. We are literally watching a game of 3-dimensional chess of what is and isn't white. And this shouldn't be surprising.

10/? And genetics can be a tricky thing. These white supremacists cannot risk some of those Black African genes manifesting in even the whitest of Latino and/or Hispanic person. Hence the reason, they could not give them whiteness like they have given other groups in the past.

9/? Their "whiteness" in their home countries and hatred of Black people in their home countries informs their hatred of Black people here. And many of them have Black African blood coursing through their veins that they hate. Look at the history of the Dominican Republic and the anti-Blackness.
