Mike Conley is likely coming back, the Wolves saved luxury tax $ and made a deal to try and upgrade the roster now (at the cost of Dillingham and draft capital).

Mike Conley’s had quite a week. Traded twice, he will likely return to Timberwolves.
The veteran guard went to the Bulls, then the Hornets, and that makes him eligible to return after Charlotte waived him to buy him out.

hate the idea of trading the 1st, but good to know.
This offseason, the Wolves will be $8.3 million under the luxury tax. They could increase that to $13.7 million by trading their first round pick and declining Julian Phillips team option
They could spend that entire amount on a MLE player and then re-sign Dosunmu and Clark as well
