Due to the unique way Super Mario Bros. stores its maps, its level designers were at the mercy of the decorative hills and bushes when placing bottomless pits. While the pits can be placed freely, the decorations are non-negotiable and dictate the level design.

I don't know if I could properly convey how much of my job in a creative field is spent going:
- "I hope this works."
- "Trust the process."
- "Will the end product be as good as it is in my head?"

This, followed by the joy when, after many scribbled out lines or misplaced notes, it works.

Reminder that feeding your cats raw food at this time is NOT safe. The speed at which cats go from a light fever to dying of pneumonia or neurological symptoms is just a few DAYS.

I lost 2 cats to this in March and had around 20k in medical bills to save 2 others who were hospitalized.

If you actually have a reasonable budget to hire an artist for your project, TELL THEM IN YOUR INITIAL EMAIL TO THEM. Right off the bat. Here is the project, this is what I can pay, this is the deadline. We get so many time wasters it’s remarkably refreshing when a potential client is upfront

And here it is as the full procession:

A marching band procession of colourful dragons. The dragons are all different sizes and each wears a black marching band outfit with a tall, feathered hat. The instruments being played include drums, French horn, symbols, saxophone, tuba, flute, trumpet and clarinet. The marching band conductor marches at the front of the procession with a baton held high.
