UCN is at the bottom of FNAF World, a haunted video game that also can interact with the ghosts/memory stuff. (We hear William screaming down there in UCN).

Haunted arcades and all. William got uploaded via digital consciousness transfer when various circuit boards were scanned to a NEW game.

Nope, just William.

When we put on the Vanny mask in HW1 and hear that conversation, we hear one side of it... Vannessa talking to someone. I think people assumed WE were Vanessa talking to Bill A.

But I think Vanessa was talking to US, the player.

We still have the mask in HW2.

7/7 Anyway yep that is my basic thoughts/guesses for "where is William Afton in the current era".

He's our Protagonist for 2/4 games! Picking his fate and being jumpscared, like in UCN. Struggling with Eisoptrophobia, as usual.

6/7 From what Scott said I don't think that's what he meant to do with Burntrap: him with a physical form in the "being regrown from scratch" refrigerator. Steel Wool kind of...created a story/explanation that was more literal for him.

But, it got put in the game so, the story has rolled with it.

5/7 Vanessa says her father, Bill A. is "locked away", and that he's the one she made the bunny costume for.

4/7 The HW2 Player is the same color as MXES's "heart".

The same color as the charging stations, where he was staying in Security Breach.

3/7 He got ripped out of Burntrap by the Nightmarionne bots and put into Maskbot instead, AWAY from the scraps of his original Spring Bonnie suit and out of Glitchtrap's control.

This is right before the events of HW2.

2/7 In Security Breach, we see a version of William where Glitchtrap is in control. William doesn't speak or have autonomy. (Burntrap). Glitchtrap keeps him in the recharging stations to get them both energy/remnant.

It was going to put him back in there, but something went wrong.

1/7 My guess for William's current story arc!

I do think there is a Springtrap agony creature that's resulted from all the bleeding/crying/etc. William did in that suit.

It is "friendly" and wants to merge with William (the protagonist of HW1) again, but locks him up when he won't cooperate.
