Here's my short Star Wars ranking. Let's start at the back and work to the front:

100. Attack of the Clones
99. Ewoks (Cartoon)
98. Resistance - S1
97. Obi-Wan Kenobi
96. Visions - The Bandits of Golak
95. The Clone Wars (film)
94. Revenge of the Sith
93. The Clone Wars - S1
Your Star Wars rankings are weak. Let me show you how a true otaku does things.

Its so funny Cyberpunk expects you to want to collect like 50 vehicles and then give you one that not only looks cooler and handles better than literally everything else in the game, but also is a direct emotional connection to the animating relationship of the narrative.

One year ago to the day, we lost David Lynch, a filmmaker and artist very dear to my heart, and to the hearts of so many around the world.

To celebrate his life and work, I present: DAVID LYNCH'S BITSYRASERHEAD, a tribute to a dream of dark and troubling things

A 1977 Star Wars tie-in Coca-Cola Premium promotional poster starring R2-D2 and C-3PO by Del Nichols. (I’m particularly taken by his Obi-Wan Kenobi.)

Art by Syd Mead for U.S. Steel, 1969. The direct influence on the walker designs for The Empire Strikes Back is well documented. #starwars

Skeleton Crew is one of my favorite Star Wars things ever; kid-friendly without being simple, adventurous and imaginative; I don't want another season, but I'd love for that team to tell so many more stories in the universe.

Well, okay, more Jod please.
And more Neel.
Lots more Neel, if you could!
Skeleton Crew ended one year ago today.

The story had a real ending and there was no announcement for a season 2, but would you like to see the characters from this space pirate adventure again?

(This is also why I find Life Day stuff pernicious; while The Wookiee Holiday from The Bad Special is fun, it robs us of the delight of just dressing C-3PO up like Santa Claus for Christmas. The barrier between real world and Star Wars should be comfortably permeable like the imagination of a child)

That Galaxy's Edge wasn't like this from the beginning was crazy. I love that Batuu is a place; I love that Rise of the Resistance is a specific moment; but Star Wars is a playground, not a historical village, and there's more fun in being loose than in being correct.
Galaxy’s Edge is re-branding to the original trilogy era! More details coming in a video soon.

My uncle, three sake bombs in 🤝 Grand Admiral Thrawn
"You can know everything about a culture from the way it mixes its drinks."
January 14, 2026 at 7:50 PM
The problem is, you can't have Thrawn as a walkaround character in a Disney park, because of his propensity to work blue.
They should have Thrawn sitting in the cantina at Galaxy's Edge now, just pointing up at the blaster scarring on the wall and telling passersby "I did that", while nursing the same drink all-day.

And when Vader walks by he yells out GOOD DAY, ANAKIN! really loud.

Its funny, there's all sorts of editions that are champing at the bit to fill you in with all sorts of lore details; I'd love a version that just illustrates all the flowers and trees he mentions. He fills me in on the lore at his leisure; but he expects me to keep up with the hythes and fens.

For Christmas my family did a white elephant, and my contribution was a set of collected comics volumes-- Nancy, Garfield, Peanuts, Farside, Calvin & Hobbes. I left depressed nobody took it. I thought it would surely appeal to someone. Who doesn't want a Garfield Treasury?
why did so many millennials read so many newspaper comics? easily 60 percent of my reading diet in elementary/middle school was collected editions of calvin and hobbes, farside, dilbert, peanuts, doonesbury (!), foxtrot (?!?) and i know im not alone. historically unique phenomenon
rather than talk about Scott Adams I want to talk about something weirder (me). Who else was really into Dilbert when you were 12. Who else was like, boy, I can't wait to work a cubicle job
