Federal agents aren’t trying to keep the peace. They want violence to escalate so that Trump can declare martial law.

They shot a reverend in the head with pepper balls while he was praying in front of an ICE facility. If that doesn’t tell you where we are as a country, nothing will.

WGN, this woman’s employer, is now reporting she was not charged with any crimes and was released.

DHS said earlier she was arrested for assault for throwing objects at agents.

They are trying to goad protestors into lighting a Reichstag fire and those efforts are being met with suggestive hip thrusts from a giant inflatable frog.

Today my daughter's preschool is holding a farewell assembly for one of her classmates whose mother has no choice but to self deport. The school is hoping it will be joyful in tone, so we might make this less upsetting for this 3 year old.

There's just no words for the uselessness of this cruelty.

During a Sept. 30 ICE raid on a Chicago South Shore building, one resident hid a mother and her seven-year-old daughter in his apartment while federal agents arrested 37 people for alleged drug trafficking, weapons crimes and immigration violations.

Neighbor shielded 7-year-old during South Shore federal raid: ‘I didn’t want them to take her’

During the Sept. 30 raid one tenant protected a terrified girl and her mom. Remnants at the complex, including a detailed map of all the units, offer clues to what authorities may have known before that night.

I guess I am objecting to the left-right frame in its entirety. Loving the poor is not "liberal," it is Christian. Welcoming the stranger isn't liberal, either: it is what the Lord commands.
