Had someone ask me once why I love baseball. Baseball is a metaphor for life. It teaches you so much about life. Accepting failure, building mental toughness, working with others especially those that irritate you, finding your own comfort in life. Baseball isn't just a sport to me, it's truly life.

Thursday Thoughts: when you make a playlist, besides your obvious favorite bands, what's a underrated, maybe overlooked, or relatively unknown/forgotten band or artist you have to in it? For me, I have the bands Tantric and Hurt. Their music was helpful in rough times and it's still helpful today.

Tuesday Take: this is my MLB All Star Game take I've had for over 25 years, I think the All Star teams should be stat-based with the fans only getting to choose 3 players per roster because I'm tired of seeing popular guys who are struggling that season getting in over league leaders in whatever.

Since MLB Spring Training's open this week, I'm picking my most overrated and underrated players entering the 2026 season. This is based on what I saw, no analytics. Overrated (only slightly so but still a reach to some to say top 10 let alone top 5): Juan Soto, hear me out, he's not the player....
