FMCS is a tiny agency with a huge benefit to the American public. Approx. 220 employees, annual budget of 55 million in 2024, and they have saved the economy over 500 million dollars last year by presiding over 5,400 mediated negotiations and 10,000 arbitration panels to settle labor disputes.

The lives of American troops - and every American life - depends on the people in charge of our government taking their responsibilities seriously. But again and again, including with the incompetence that came to light today, they are demonstrating the opposite.
