At an asylum hearing Friday, the family was granted a continuance.

She’s a strong candidate and can win. She has a good record and is a fighter. Talarico has done a lot of fighting on the state level- passionate fighting as well, especially against vouchers and placing the 10 commandments in schools. They are both fighters, but the PAC issue is troubling

I am a Texan, and love both candidates. We WILL support whoever wins this primary! Also hoping my son wins his primary for the appellate judge position over 14 counties around Houston on the same day! So proud he is in the fight!

We do have a right to know, and they should be prosecuted!
It's not quite the most pressing issue at the moment, but the American people absolutely have a right to know the names of the federal officials who shot and killed a man peacefully protesting, who was on his knees, prone in the street when they shot him in the back.

FYI: Dems in the senate can't defund ICE. ICE is funded by the Big Ugly Bill. Shutting down DHS on this vote wouldn't touch ICE, but it would shut down FEMA, TSA, Coast Guard, etc. Shutting down ICE requires taking back Congress in the midterms. Dismantling DHS requires the White House in 2028.

This is important to us because what’s happening right now in Congress could permanently change protections for a beloved wilderness area. With everything else going on, this quietly moved forward while most people weren’t paying attention and it should concern all of us.
