My grandson went through a phase like this from the time he was three until he was about six. Any type of heavy equipment absolutely fascinated him. We would go to the library and rent DVD's about heavy equipment and how these machines were built, and they enthralled him.

A lot of the buildings on that military base look that way. The post was decommissioned a few years ago and many of those buildings just sit there empty and unused. That building was built in 1910.
