Pitchers are getting hurt more often because of emphasis on going all out instead of pacing one’s self, adding more games to the regular season in the ‘60s and many more post season games also contribute to the problem. The Manfred Man in extra innings needs to go.

I think they are on the right track. The trade deadline was a disaster but I was on board with most of the moves they made at the time. Red Sox fans had similar feelings in October, 2003.
