The moment in Fantastic Four: First Steps where Reed is telling Sue that he would never give Franklin over to Galactus and Sue snaps back with “yeah but you thought about it, didn’t you? You weighed the options??” was honestly so good, like oh wow they get what makes these characters interesting

Something that really helps is having strong moves with range. For instance, Starmie with Surf, Emboar with Heat Crash, and Venusaur with Sludge Wave have been very helpful getting and sneaking in kills

I just learned this, Staryu and Starmie were inspired by Ultraman, and Mega Starmie just dials that up to 11. So honestly, my opinion on it has changed a lot. Never seen Ultraman btw, just changed perspective on the design entirely
