We now have the privilege once more of being serenaded nightly by his hoots from the nest he shares with his mate in the oak tree outside our house. One of the most surreal yet worthwhile commitments I’ve ever made.

If this folklore malarky ever falls through, I think I might have found my calling…

Michelle, I have been asked by the UK sail makers Ratsey and Lapthorn to research their making of bags from sail canvas.
I am based in the UK and am looking for someone to visit the R&L archives at Mystic Seaport Museum for me.
Can you advise me how to go about this?

It was always busy whenever we went. I believe her husband died and that led to the eventual decision to close.

On Saturdays we tend to park in the Coop and walk into town

The cost of parking at West Bay in the summer alone makes it worth while! The difference is that we have to drive into Bridport from home

I also pay for Just Park by Apple Pay

I have not had a problem that I am aware of. I get a confirmation message and reminder when near expiry.
However, I usually use the MiPermit app as for £95 per year I get 3 hours parking a day in almost any of the Dorset Council car parks throughout the County

Just to note that to geneticists this is not a surprise, and the latest data confirms all the other data that has been building since the time of Darwin. We're all amazing mongrels, and this planet belongs to us all, to share and nurture.

“Harvard geneticist David Reich said … increasingly sophisticated analysis of genetic material made possible by technological advances shows that virtually everyone came from somewhere else, and everyone’s genetic background shows a mix from different waves of migration that washed over the globe.”
Pure bloodlines? Ancestral homelands? DNA science says no. — Harvard Gazette
Geneticist explains recent analyses made possible by tech advances show human history to be one of mixing, movement, displacement.

Are these the remains of pingos formed in the last ice age? I seem to remember there were a number of them in the Brecklands

I had a taste of it two years ago. Described the problem to reception, they passed it on to Dr. It was decided I needed physio. Six months to first appt, had no affect. Two more appts then review. Two years later just had a scan!

Our GP has started an online triage system which you have to do before you can get an appointment, or you can explain the symptoms to the receptionist who does it for you

While at Eype Church stewarding an exhibition, I have time to read Whispers of Rock. Within a few pages I am transported to the galleries at Grimes Graves where, in the 1970s, an antler was found, the thumb print of the Neolithic miner still visible in the puddled clay
