We haven't spoken in a while, but we're still on good terms. I think they moved to Los Angeles, so I'm going to get decent enough to feel comfortable looking him up and seeing if he'd do me the honor of jamming with me. Hell, maybe he can go to the local shows I'd love to get active playing lol.

It's funny I'm learning bass after all these years since one of my best friends from highschool told me because of me he's a musician now. I made him go to the opening of Guitar Center and he put a bass on layaway. He's big enough to have some newspaper coverage in Houston where I grew up.

Still one of my all-time favorite songs to see open a show. The Gin Blossoms were opening for Toad the Wet Sprocket and that guitar note cut through the small venue and the music just swallowed me. It doesn't hurt that the lyrics fit so well with a teen psycho in Texas.
