Especially if you're an artist posting images on the site, using alt text makes your images searchable (and you get a ton more space to describe images in the alt text field than you do in the post text field... it's free real estate!).
Also, it's an easy way to make this site accessible to all!

Lastly be sure to look through your Bluesky settings. You can do things there like toggle content filters, and more.
One thing I recommend it enabling the feature to require alt text before posting, to help you consistently add alt text without forgetting.

I know this is hardly shocking news to anyone at this point, but I've been testing more AI programs recently and still haven't found a truly good reason to use it. Even when I *want* it to work, when I'm begging for it to prove its usefulness, it gives wrong or unsatisfying results every time.
