I always had a vague hope under Levy, until the past 2-3 years, that there was a semblance of a strategy and they were just trying to thread an absurdly thin needle. Obviously there was a bit of lying to myself here but we we had absurdly competent ownership from like 2002-2016ish.

the best antidote to blackpilling is remembering that every video you see of an ICE thug abusing their power was recorded by an American who volunteered to put themselves in harm's way for the sake of people they've likely never met and never will
/2 In light of that, I am in awe and deep respect of the people who are still showing up to monitor the ICE Gestapo, protect and defend their neighbors, do whatever they can to hold ICE to account and call out their lawlessness. What incredible bravery.

It’s hard to get a good barometer of where spurs are because so many fans are prone to write manifestos at the drop of a hat but when the disdain for the play we’re seeing seeps into @jackpittbrooke.bsky.social’s writing you know it’s bad.

This place is morally superior to Twitter for reasons that don't need to be explained on here. But I think the sense that being here is a moral act in and of itself (it's not) gives a lot of people permission to lecture strangers about things that are dumb and also frankly none of their business

Why are there like 4 planes fighting over the beach in Dunkirk? How does a movie so concerned about scale not have enough extras?
#FilmSky, a quick question; what is the pettiest thing you have had to be annoyed at a film? I ask because I am watching The Gift from 2000, and the main character does divination with Zener Cards, which are not the same thing as Tarot at all. Why go for a more boring looking option?
