We have each other. We are the Resistance now. All of us.
My personal boycott is already well underway, so happy to align with this one.
Agree. Not everything needs to be commodified, and that attitude in my opinion is part of the huge issue with the US government takeover right now.
I love the Closet Core Cielo. Even has a free printout if you need an FBA.

In exchange for taking him to the dentist, I got my unofficial photographer to snap a few pics of my new #avenuevest by @toriknitsnyc.bsky.social I knit it with about 200 g of @honerocheir.bsky.social My gauge was off so this was knit as a size 2 to get 40” of width. #knitsky #knittersofbluesky

Love that shade of orange/red.
Happy to have some #teaguedress weather today. The 🥶 weather last week was doing nothing for my ever increasing existential dread. I wore 👖 every day and wasn’t a fan. Even if I have to do a bit of a 🧜‍♀️ shuffle when I power walk, still so much comfier than 90% of pants. #sewsky #garmentsewing
I really enjoy crafting social media, and my 800 craft projects are really helping me get through these dark cafe days, but I have so little energy to take that extra step of reporting out. 🫠. [PS. No need to actually worry about me.]
I went to a dinner party a few months ago where someone else had the same basic Adidas and my anxiety was so triggered that we would accidentally switch.

In my city there is one cybertruck and one DIY parody of a cybertruck and the parody truck has become a local celebrity. Meanwhile, I always wish I had some rotten eggs to throw at the tesla whenever I see it.
It’s a beautiful sweater! I have a quilt I made right after my dad died. I had never made a quilt before. Learning something new and making something beautiful with all that sad energy was so powerful. 10 years later and it still means so much to me.
Are you referring to old school, straight, single-pointed. I do think circular are more ergonomic than those, but don’t have an explanation 😂

Our nation's federal employees are more than just numbers on a spreadsheet.

They make sure we have clean water.

They protect us from financial fraud.

They provide healthcare to our communities.

They make our government actually work for people.

Do not forget this.

Some federal employees who accepted Trump’s buyout offer are now being notified that their buyout has been denied, and they are being terminated instead.

The mass firing of thousands of federal workers by the Trump Administration is unprecedented, illegal, and downright dangerous.

Across the government, probationary employees and Schedule A workers—including individuals with severe physical, psychiatric, or intellectual disabilities, as well as veterans—are being let go.

This administration has convinced half the country that the real problem isn’t billionaires who evade taxes and collect government handouts but the working class who pay taxes and get nothing in return.

The MAGA regime has now fired over 1,000 employees from the U.S. Dept of Veterans Affairs. This agency that is already severely understaffed, operates over 100 major hospitals and several hundred clinics and processes veterans benefits.

This is what hating veterans looks like.

This week, approximately 200,000 federal workers have been let go.
It’s warm but honestly not too warm. I’m a bit of a lizard though.
I def think this is my own cutting error because the other side panel and back lay so nicely.

I really like experimenting with fabrics that are unconventional for the garment I’m making, but then these issues come up and lots of lessons are learned 🫠
Since this is deadstock and I’m trying to be type B, and live with it. I did use a little interfacing on the inside (light weight fusible), but if anyone has suggestions to make this stiffer I’m all ears.
