So much energy is invested by communities to respond to the latest government initiative, only for much of it to subside when the initiative ends. We need a commitment to sustain ongoing community development, so citizens everywhere can continue to connect, decide and deliver, outside of local govt.

The UK government's #prideinplace proposals rely on an organised community in key areas of disadvantage able to respond and deliver change. Unless those areas have held onto a community trust type org, they'll need to invest in sustained #CommunityDevelopment.

A major Amazon Web Services outage resulted in many different platforms and services being taken down for many users in the US. This includes Amazon, Alexa, Snapchat, Fortnite, ChatGPT, and more. Russia is on a trajectory to begin attacking NATO member states WITHIN the next 5 years - likely whilst Trump remains in office.

The number of ‘entire homes’ in Bristol that are on Airbnb instead of being rented out to long term tenants or otherwise lived in has now passed 2,000 for the first time.

Teesside’s freeport, initiated in 2021 under Rishi Sunak, has cost £560 million far exceeding the standard £25 million allocation (22 times the standard £25m).
90% profits go to the private sector.
This clearly shows the UK model of State aid post-Brexit is utterly corrupt.
