At age 41 I finally got around to playing the original Clock Tower alongside my wife and daughter. My daughter was mapping out the house as we played on paper, it was so cool! We got 3 of the endings our best one being Ending B. Very glad to have absorbed this piece of #horror #gaming history.

Today via bandcamp I discovered a soundtrack for a game called Versebound. I then realized it's basically a #Finnish mythology version of #VampireSurvivors and now I must play it. The soundtrack is great too!

If all Crytek is doing is hyping up giving us back content the already put in the game but took away from us I think I'm done with Hunt. So much for QoL and "transparency" and "communication" this year.
The game is the least stable and most buggy it has been in years. (1/2)

After 3600 hours and 7 years in @huntshowdown.bsky.social I've changed my steam review to negative, unfortunately.
It's as unstable as ever, content it once had was taken away, and the "relaunch" just broke the UI, there's no working prox chat in a 7 year old game made by a AA developer. Shameful.

Tried the Half Life 2 RTX remix aaaand...DLSS makes every game look like ass. In stills, things look nice, but in motion...you know, the state video games are in 99% of the time - it looks like muddy dogshit. I hope this era of lazy game visuals and optimization dies eventually.

I'm sorry but making a blog post saying "we've brought back the lore!" when the lore site is full of "Coming Soon" buttons is peak Crytek. "Look at this thing we half-assed!" is truly becoming the standard for #HuntShowdown and it breaks my heart. It's just a pre-existing text dump, c'mon.

I miss late night infomericals. The idea that entertainment was just cut off at some point in the night and all that was left were hokey advertisements for shit nobody really needs has a certain coziness to it that I never thought I'd miss.
