That’s impressive ( and I’m a bit jealous..I wasn’t). However, I did buy cigs with dinner money at 15 ( yes, they were that cheap) but underage drinking back then was much more of a ‘one of the grown ups’ thing
Decades before social media etc and how we used to amuse ourselves because there wasn’t much else to do ( especially pre pub drinking age). Better than fighting tho
Never thought of ever doing that. Marvellous!
Makes sense. First time I heard of that being done was Back To The Future 2 and 3. If you’ve got a definite hit, why not?
Drunk, up in a dangerous attic, lost my balance and fell though the hatch but just with the one leg hanging there
What’s the stupidest thing you’ve ever done? I don’t mean “cheating on your partner” stupid, I mean stupid stupid. Like, once, I had this bubble bath which smelled absolutely delicious, so I took a big glug of it. That kind of stupid. (It did not taste delicious.)
But that was a ‘thing’ though, years and years ago? Remember me & a mate in a school playground (we’re 17 and 18), as he was a smoker used Zippos so had the lighter fuel. Sprayed it on his jeans ( biker) and those flames went on for that little bit too long. No scarring but no leg hair. Great times
Wondering if they film them back to back?

So, there is nothing to stop the King using his prerogative to remove an honour.

Legislation may be needed for consequences - any property tied to the title, attendance of House of Lords - though these don't seem relevant to Andrew.

tl;dr The King can remove a title without legislation.

There is something going badly wrong with news broadcasting atm. I‘m starting to sound like a conspiracy theorist the way different administrations are held to account

let's be honest, it's amazing that she can even locate the moon in the first place. If anyone was gonna believe that we never landed there, it would be her.
It’s that much overlooked Paralympic event of Power Crimping
And thnx for the explanation. All v interesting how they’re put together etc
Aah, I see. I was confused by the first pic because of the port.Didn't realise it was fabric covering it; just looked like a small speaker cabinet with a bit of fabric underneath. Why I thought they were 3 ft, I don’t know. Btw, am guitar-orientated so just had the speaker/driver explained to me :)
Sorry, I had to check the pic again. That material at the bottom is fabric which is on the outside? Expected a long piece of chipboard as they’re 3ft long; looks like the unit is only, what, 18”? Is it in two parts?
That is :) The last five years have been somewhat overwhelming here
As much as I like the BBC I wish they’d check stuff for typos:
I marvelled at his bookcases when there was that article about him/them. Wasn’t it an entire flat’s worth?
Yes. Quite stilted in first few seasons but much better in this one. Thought Kristin Scott Thomas and Gary Oldman showed how good they are by lighting up every scene they’re in. Must be a great learning experience for the newer actors
Well, I was determined not to like it as she comes across as an arsehole like her dad. Listened to first two tracks and was completely drawn in 🤷🏻‍♂️
Will listen to others when time permits… Quite a brouhaha tbh

The joy of forming a political view, but not expressing it on social media.

The exhilaration of realising you can change that view as you wish, rather than it freezing it in time as your eternal ‘take’.

A thought kept alive in one’s mind, rather than one which dies as soon as it hits the screen.
Thought the dialog in some set pieces was outstanding, however, some actors miscast and struggle with their parts. We have far better bumblers than the Head of MI5

I keep being told spending cuts are easy. Honest proposals such as those recently outlined by Policy Exchange show they are not
