Ran all the streets of SLC in 2020 + some suburbs in 2021 & 2022. I post random photos around Salt Lake and write occasionally for City Weekly.
Spotted up at Hill Air Force Base in Clearfield, Utah.

Have you flown a drone before? If not, I can imagine it is tough to appreciate what you are seeing and how difficult their capturing these shots are.

These camera operators have undoubtedly also dedicated a large portion of their life to their craft, too — it is incredibly impressive.

??

lol, you got this backwards by dude — the city implemented traffic calming efforts and protective bike lanes that the state is now working on reversing and imposing barriers on future projects.

Admire the confidence in the comment, though.

Yes, that is what it is for.

The real gold medalists from this Olympics are the drone operators — some fantastic views of the downhill skiers and now the speed skaters!

More akin to a hostage victim declaring “support” of their hostage takers.
To clarify here, Puy tells me that the city is supportive of the conversations and process of crafting SB242. Told me after the meeting it's been much better than SB195.

So it sounds like it's more of the "we wish this bill didn't exist" but if it is going to happen, it better look like this
SLC Council Chair Puy is here, reading a statement in support of SB242, saying the city wants a "world-class transportation system" in place ahead of 2034 #utpol

I present the latest microaggression that our feeble-feeling Utah Legislators have vowed #NeverAgain: the innocuous bike lanes on 300W.

For the love of god, say “no” to SB242 that takes local control of SLC Streets and puts it into the heavy-handed hands of state government!

Puy *supports* this bill?

Did… did it work?!
Just your average Saturday afternoon in February when @slsees.bsky.social runs laps around the Whale (dressed as the Whale) hoping for some snow

FYI: if you are looking for an easy weekend activity (especially if you have kids and are trying to get out of the house) — would recommend hitting up the University of Utah’s student union basement!

Bowling, ping pong, arcade games — and not a college kid in sight!

Dang — this was a double-digit R-advantages district, too. Wild times.

It was so hot to be running in a hoodie 😂

Truly pathetic outreach from the Utah GOP — can’t wait to see their Prop 4 repeal efforts go down in flames.

Sad part is they won’t learn a thing from the process and how unpopular a lot of their policies they are pushing are (even with a dark red electorate).

Caught them putting the finishing touches on installing Robert Indiana’s iconic “LOVE” statue outside the Utah Museum of Fine Arts!

Looks awesome!

Based on petition gathering efforts I’ve taken a part in, it would be shocking if they would be sitting on a cache of signed packets from purely a PR perspective.

If they had a large contingency it would make sense for them to show it off!

Based on how the SLC School District boundary maps are constructed, each high school blends affluent, predominantly white, east-side areas with more diverse, west-side neighborhoods.

So odds are every high school student in SLC would have been personally touched by the recent immigration policy.

Deidre Henderson is the Spencer Cox Utah Dems thought they were getting when Spencer Cox got elected governor.
“[Pam Bondi] pretty much slandered all of us,” said Utah Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson. “And to me, that’s problematic to publicly claim that secretaries of state are not doing our jobs and the federal government has to do it for us. Not OK.”
Trump’s call to ‘nationalize’ elections adds to state officials’ alarm
