This was a Utah GOP-led effort to overturn the voter approved anti-gerrymandering ballot initiative that passed back in 2018.
They were 50k signatures short 2 days ago… we’ll see!

Sad part is they won’t learn a thing from the process and how unpopular a lot of their policies they are pushing are (even with a dark red electorate).

According to the proposed map, 1300S (where it happened) would be a Tier 2 road — requiring the city to do a study and UDOT approve BEFORE traffic calming measures could be done.
