I was already a granny when ICE came to be and I can assure anyone who's concerned about an ICEless existence that it's perfectly fine, nobody got hurt even though the '90s were the prime cartel years. ICE has killed way more American citizens than the cartels ever dreamed of. Fuck ICE, srsly!

Dunno if they still sell it but Trader Joe's used to sell cat tuna in cans--super stinky but the ingredient list was basically tuna and water. My cats loved it--I no longer have cats, but that stuff was great when I had the diabetic kitteh.

I installed the Truecaller app on my phone, which passes along the carrier for the party calling me. I've discovered that anything from Onvoy is guaranteed to be a bullshit sales call. So I just block them right off the bat. It's whack a mole but what else can you do?

Whoee, the pass used to be grueling in a carbureted vehicle. 10K ft elevation in a car set up for sea level means the poor thing is crawling along that last couple miles. Kids today will never understand our struggles!

Tommy's IS amazing, they're open 24/7, they literally never close. At 3am you can see a wedding party in a limo, some skater punks and a few celebrities macking down at the crusty picnic tables outside. Few choices, no substitutions, fucking awesome but yeah, total gut bombs lol. Chili dogs too!

My second husband, a native Angeleno, while we were courting had to go to LA from Sacramento and on the way back he stopped for a bag of Tommy burgers to bring home. I heated one up and had it for breakfast next day, he says that's when he determined he'd marry me lol. Dayum I love them things!

And if you think about it, the fact that she was in max security during the Biden administration argues strongly that she had NO leverage on him at all. Or on Obama, who could credibly influence Biden. Food for thought.

This is likely why Maxwell is still alive--she's got a massive dump on a deadman switch and has convinced Trump that it's gonna go off the second she stops breathing. The big tipoff was her leveraging herself into a cushy minimum facility. She's a monster, but is not at all dumb.

Have you tried Bear Creek dry soup mixes? I make up the cheddar/broccoli one then add more broccoli, cheese and white meat chicken and it gets so sturdy you could stand a spoon vertical in it no problem. Even if you don't mess around adding stuff, it's still real good on its own.

Everyone feeling envious right now needs to think about how this low snowpack is gonna suck real hard for us during fire season. I'd rather by a lot to need to put on a couple extra layers than not being able to breathe all summer. Yuck.

Not in the least--granted, I'm an outlier because I dislike most body mod surgery but everyone has the right to fix their faces to match their insides. Hence the GOP ghoul look known as "Mar-A-Lago face." Guh.
