It's looking a bit grim for the next week. Let's hope there is some sunshine to offset the low wind

Surely this is a great investment supporting the drive to reduce UK and Europe's dependency on #gas by switching to #renewableenergy whilst creating UK jobs www.ft.com/content/7f01... do you agree @yuanfenyang.bsky.social

Looking forward to visiting today, on the lookout for my next (3rd) BEV. Happily driving electric since 2018 and part of a car share to work so my small contribution to #StopBurningStuff #SBS

Quite a lot of cars here too, we have more cars available for test drives than ever before.
(Over our 21 shows around the world we have facilitated over 130,000 test drives)

First visit to Nibsy's on the go, currently in Forbury Square by the Davidson Building #RdgUK the warm sausage roll was quickly eaten but the lush slice of chocolate, beetroot and date cake was saved for indulgence at home. Do go visit the lovely team for coffee and tasty #GF treats IG: @NIBSYSGF
A slice of dark chocolate cake, generously topped with a mix of pumpkin and sunflower seeds, rests on a white plate with a teal and gold rim. To the left, a dark blue and yellow reusable coffee cup stands on a napkin. Below the plate and cup, a white paper bag or wrapper with the "Nibsy's" logo and the phrase "GLUTEN-FREE JOY, INSIDE." is visible, all set on a vibrant tablecloth patterned with blue and yellow sardine can illustrations.

Wonderful to be included in this ever growing thread of climate scientist portraits.

@edhawkins.org is a climate scientist at University of Reading who works on assessing climate risks with historical data. He’s the creator of the most iconic climate communication tool ever, the warming stripes.

Back from my hols which involved driving an EV thru France - at times in extreme heat.

No dramas. No range anxiety. Loads of chargers. All worked. No waits. Whole experience was a pleasure - and totally normal, as expected.

That's it.

Sorry, Daily Telegraph editors - no 'EV hell' anecdotes for u

How exciting!!! 96.3kWp of solar has started going up at Archbishop Tenison’s school today, thanks to our community investors! ☀️

This will reduce the bills and carbon of the school, as well as teach the students about renewable energy. Watch this space for more updates 🎉

Help! ❤️

YouTube flagged our @cleaninguppod.bsky.social documentary on #ProjectBo as political advertising. 😬

Using #solar power to help save babies' lives is NOT political! 🌞

We've re-edited, now we REALLY need your likes, comments, RTs and shares to get the word out! 🙏

Do tariffs / import quotas on solar panels help or hurt domestic jobs?

While they boost *manufacturing* jobs they tend to hurt total jobs. That's because most clean energy jobs are in deployment, installation, maintenance etc.

Do imports of cheap solar panel and other technologies help or hurt domestic jobs in clean energy?
Without a comparative advantage, cheaper energy imports often help domestic jobs.

Great Britain wastes £180,000 every hour switching off wind turbines and overpaying gas generators to switch on. That's £389,985,530 so far this year! wastedwind.energy

One of the big things I'm working on at @nestauk.bsky.social atm is Clean Heat Neighbourhoods - looking at whether we can help people upgrade their heating alongside their neighbours.

To bring that to life, we're making some case of schemes that do this...
