I've been lurking since the invite-only beta, but I think it's time to introduce myself. I'm a retro game and Lego enthusiast. Sometimes I'm a Ken doll for my wife's cosplays. I enjoy reading, history, films & television, and comedy. I'm hoping to recapture some of the old bird app vibe here.
Why are we asking for a public hearing in 2025? [Gestures vaguely to all of social media] He has plenty of options for getting his message to the American people and the world. He could do it today if he wanted.
Jack Smith is asking to testify in an open & PUBLIC hearing because Republicans are lying about his work as Special Counsel.

The truth must come out! Americans deserve transparency & have a right to know what 47, & company, did to incite their insurrection against our country.
Yes, I believe it was prerendered like Donkey Kong Country, but you have a wider range of motion because it's not a side scroller.
Mario RPG on the SNES was mind blowing at the time because the isometric view and character models made the game appear to be 3D. The writing and animation during story scenes is funny, and the gameplay is fun.
Great choice; I missed out on that when it came out, but was introduced to it by a college roommate. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars on the SNES was my first RPG. That might be one your oldest could handle. The follow up, Paper Mario on the N64, is also a simple RPG lite game.
Mail call. I backed the Cosmere TTRPG on Kickstarter and it finally arrived. I've never played D&D or any other tabletop role playing games, but I like Brandon Sanderson's books, so I'm hopeful the game will be fun.

I know for a fact that Antifa is not an organization because I don't get emails from them asking for money.
That's a fantastic achievement! Congratulations!
Both Cooler movies.
"Sun, you grow my food. You kill my enemies. You're totally worth the skin cancer."
The Ave Maria on Cooler kicking Vegeta was brilliant.
There's a lot of infuriating stuff going on right now, so I'm going to unplug for the night and watch Superman on HBO. I think we can all use a little positivity at the moment. Pick a feel good movie and have a good night. Happy Friday.

Silly Jimmy Kimmel. He should have just called for all homeless people to be killed and he’d still have a job.

/3 There are no moral or norm-based barriers to it trying to do crazy, evil things. But that doesn’t make every “what if the administration does this” scenario equally plausible.

It’s less likely to do complicated things that take careful planning or follow-through, for instance.
Aladdin, War of the Gems, and TMNT IV: Turtles in Time are 3 SNES games I find myself playing a lot when I don't know what I'm in the mood for.
Assembled Lego 40769 Sega Genesis Controller. This was a bonus set with recent purchase. The set came with stickers to do the US, UK, and Japanese versions of the controller. The back features a Sonic diorama.
Lego 76328 The Classic TV Series Batmobile. I loved watching the 1966 Batman series as a kid and am excited to add this 1,822 piece build to my collection.
I ordered the Zengrip 2 from Satisfye because I love the original Zengrip for Switch. Besides feeling great in hand, it's designed to fit while docked so you don't have to constantly remove or add it while switching between handheld and docked modes. www.satisfye.com/products/zen...

We've had AI since the 60s. Google used to be a leader in AI. Now you can't trust any search results from them. I don't know that Google can even build back the trust they lost after not immediately rolling these garbage releases back to a stable model. We'll forever have to check their answers.
+1 to Steven's answer. My wife hasn't played any of the games, but she thoroughly enjoyed season 1. You can watch the show without any knowledge of the games.
The Mario dev team made the new DK game, and now Sakurai has let us know the Smash Bros team made Kirby Air Riders. I wonder how many other Nintendo teams are trying new IPs on Switch 2. Hopefully the fresh perspectives lead to interesting stories, mechanics, and fun gameplay.
How dare the museum not have things about the future? Everyone knows you go to the museum to see how bright your future is. 🤡 Acknowledging the past is not weakness, but failing to learn from it will certainly cause problems in our future.

An innocent President would simply release the Epstein Files and demand a full FBI investigation into every Epstein client.

That’s it.

That’s the whole ballgame summed up.

Let me qualify what Josh is saying. It is quite clear that the Constitution requires a census of all persons. It’s quite clear that past Supreme Court cases support this proposition. (For instance, the recent census question case makes no sense if persons doesn’t include immigrants.)

Let me expand on this point. The Constitution is quite clear that you can't distinguish between kinds of persons in running the Census. And that is especially about apportionment for Congress. The original language makes it pretty clear when it talks about "free persons". But the 14th amendment ...
As Wessel states, now bulldozing the Census. It's critical to note that not counting people "in our Country illegally" violates the constitution. It doesn't speak of citizens or legal status, simply "the whole number of free persons".

Interesting. I hadn't thought of Gauntlet Legends as an RPG before. Would you also classify Mega Man 64 this way because of the character upgrades and enhancements you can unlock?
I didn't know they made Wizardry games beyond the NES era. If it's anything like the NES ones, you have my pity and respect for powering through it.
