to add onto this: hythlodaeus is clearly not a bad person, but it is skewered esp in the side stores how his general pleasantness does lend to a certain kind of callousness. a lot of ancients are like him! no rocking the boat! and that's not a good thing

what’s really frustrating about people who won’t credit others for art/gposes is the fact that it does, in fact, do lasting harm on people. one of my best friends (a Black trans man, which matters) left this fandom in part due to a white gposer just straight stealing his wolgraha art into a gpose

YESSSS I wanna see the wol have to claw back their power like in hvw, give a reason why they can't steam roll their adversaries like they always do, hell even something involving the other scions forcing them to stay their hand (just no one is safe, a fafo kind of situation- not a fake out either

i hope Halmarut and Calyx steal our azem crystal and we have to go back to ACTUALLY solo'ing everything. going back to a 1v1 after essentially two expansions worth of 8v1 fights would be a good way to raise the stakes for the WoL

it would have been so easy for calyx to turn 99% of alexandria against the WoL by revealing who killed endless sphene and kickstarted all of the turmoil
but i guess having a glowing cyberpunk endgame hub for exchanging tome gear is more important 😭

was talking with my roommate about this before but i really want some severe consequences for the wol soon. like even in the ARR patches (when stakes weren't high) the wol lost all of their crystals to midgardsormr. i want that 10000X. suck the power out of the wol. knock them down a hundred pegs
