Trump will not be a king. He will be a 'vassal king'. His destiny, if he is not brought down, is to be a regional manager within Russia's expanded federation, keeping the American people under Putin's heel. Elections will not save you, they will be neither free nor fair; the results will be rigged.

Kudos to all the #NoKings protesters in the US and beyond. It is sadly true that Trump doesn't care and will sneer, but what they achieve is to provoke thought and inspire. Millions will have see these protests and will question their own position. Hearts and minds. Trump has neither, but others do.

It's possible Trump is not actually running anything. That he is a just a very distracting paper puppet who is being allowed to blow in whatever direction he wants at ant given time to keep eyes off those who are really in charge. With the occasional whispered breath to direct him where they want.
