Satellaview+ deserves more attention: an emulator-based (so far) recreation of the '90s service that let players download games to their Super Famicoms via satellite. Today there's a big SFC in the in-game town in honor of the console's 35th birthday and last month they added a damn Spirit Halloween

I need to find someone to practice with, who is experienced enough on both ends to provide feedback and help me with technique, but also isn't so heavy into it that they have set expectations? I don't think traditional inductions are my style so I want to try different things and see what is comfy.

I think I'm feeling comfortable enough that I'd actually like to start doing hypnosis/guided meditation on others. I'm not in a good space to do it myself, but I think maybe doing it for others might help me become more okay with it.

Estrogen is amazing, it does a lot of the heavy lifting. It's a hard worker and does a great job at its job.

Reminder it took less than a year for Windows 7 Users to get Registry Hacks going after end of official support and start just doing community patches and fixes to the OS that made it usable even now

There is zero reason to believe the same isnt just gonna happen now

How do you normally write? Do you write from prompts, or free writing, or do you draft out points to hit and expand on them?

Sometimes changing it up can sort of help write out a writer's block.

It'll get easier and better as you do it, and you'll redevelop those old skills and it'll get easier to write the things you really want to write.

There is also a reason why it took me three post to say all of this in detail that most people would think is way too verbose!

The thing best thing to kinda work yourself back into it is just write. Not like, 'write a novel', but like, write in paragraphs to your friends about your special interests, write out things that you normally just spend the time to think through, write out your thoughts on games you played.

As a writer, writing is very much a 'use it or lose it' skill. I wrote a ton when I was kinda in a personal rough patch, and I was able to churn out 8-10 pages no problem. When I was in a position where I wasn't required to write so much, I could barely write a page.
