The more I listen to TLOAS, the more I like it, but also the more I wonder why Taylor chose to collab with Martin and Shellback on a more mellow/subtle album. It's like hiring Steve Vai to play maracas on a track. Like, sure, you can do that, but it doesn't feel like the best use of their talents.

A giant leap in quality from A Realm Reborn. Heavensward is an excellent story with some high-highs, but it's not immune to some low-lows and abrupt pacing issues like the base-game. Still, the bar was raised with this expansion and it's worthy of praise.

The companion album to the movie didn't wow me with the first listen. Some funny jokes but the songs aren't up to the standard of the first two albums. In a way, it's a perfect parody of a latter day classic rock album, including just kinda okay songs. If the new movie is an 8/10, this is a 6/10.

The sequel I didn't know I wanted. Not quite as good as the first film but one of the better comedy sequels out there. This one has an even more limited audience than the first film and really dives deep into jokes for professional musicians. Fantastic film. Loved it.
