Well, ordinarily, when you make glue, first you need to thermoset your resin, and then, after it cools, you mix in epoxide, which is really just a fancy-schmancy word for any simple oxygenated adhesive, right?

My point is that he knew what she meant. I don’t speak on behalf of other Arabs but as an Arab myself I think his response was spot on because he saw through her racist BS. (He knew that by “Arab” she meant “Muslim” and therefore a “potentially bad person.”)

Because he knew exactly what she meant by saying “Arab.” Instead of correcting her and saying “he isn’t Arab,” he gave a response to what she truly meant, putting her in her place.
