Wild, I never knew anybody who preferred SMK over MK64, and DKR didn't seem to get anybody as excited as Mario Kart in my region.

I mean, I loved DKR more.

But yeah MK64 was wildly the preferred option when it came to kart racers around me. MKDD!! was enjoyed as well, but nobody had GC, so...

It's terribly common for a series I grew up on and loved to be turned against me and mine. Or smothered into oblivion for the crime of simply existing.

I'm not above knowing that it's trivial for me. I'm in no real danger. Yet, the heart still aches.
